Meddy, as he stage name, and Mimi, tied the knot on Saturday, May 22, in a glamorous ceremony attended by friends, relatives and different Rwandan celebrities in Texas. Even in their instagram account they message was shared and both thanked a couple of their friends.

As stated by Meddy in the M&M love story video on his YouTube channel, The have been dating since 2016 and never been low-key to showing their love publicly. Meddy said the first time they met each other, he was preparing to shoot for ‘ Ntawamusimbura’s’ music video. It took Meddy a whole year to convince Mimi to be in his video which at some point became weird for his producer. He revealed that the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew she was the right girl for the music video.
